Mount Saint Mary Athletics Hall of Fame
NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Former basketball player Thomas Fuller was inducted as a member of the Mount Saint Mary College Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
Thomas Fuller was part of the first Skyline Championship in the Mount men's basketball program history. The 1996-97 Knights won 18 games, a record at the time, en route to a Skyline Co-Championship. He averaged 14.0 points per game over his four-year career, including 18.1 points per game in 1995-96 and 17.3 points per game in 1996-97.
He finished his career with 1,395 total points, which was the program record at the time, and currently stands as the fourth highest total in program history. He was an All-Skyline Second Teamer in 1996. He earned First-Team All-Skyline honors in 1997, as well as NCAA Division III Metropolitan Region All-Star recognition. Fuller also served as an assistant coach with the Mount women's basketball team for three years from 2003-06. He helped guide the team to three Skyline Championships, multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and a ranking of No. 23 in the nation at one point.
Fuller currently works for a Healthcare company named Treo Solutions as a client services representative. He is married to his wife, Carla Fuller, and they have a two-year old son named Elijah Thomas Fuller. One of his proudest and most memorable moments was scoring his 1,000th career point on a dunk against New Jersey Institute of Technology.
