The career record holder in singles, doubles and combined wins at Mount Saint Mary College, Gabriela Murphy-Goldberg led the Knights to four straight Skyline Conference Championships and appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Murphy-Goldberg led the Knights to their only four NCAA Tournament appearances and picked up First Team All-Skyline Conference accolades in each of her four years. She was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year in 2009 and the league's Player of the Year in 2010 and went on to be named the Skyline Conference Championship Most Outstanding Player in both 2009 and 2011.

Murphy Goldberg won at least 10 singles matches in each season of her career, including a career-high and single season program record 19 as a sophomore. Murphy-Goldberg went on to set the career singles victories record with 60 as a senior in 2012 and that same year posted the career doubles mark with 51 and combined mark with 111. She became just the second player in program history to surpass the 100 career win total.

Also a standout off the court, Murphy-Goldberg picked up Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors in Women's Tennis following the 2009-10 academic year.

"Being a student athlete helped me manage my time to a T to make sure that I graduated with honors and also had time for family, friends, and a part/full time job. It also gave me the mental training to be confident in times of struggle or when I thought I didn't have a chance in the world of "winning." Being a student-athlete helped me take the plunge and make a career 180 and go towards beauty marketing when I was trained my whole life in the sciences," stated Murphy-Goldberg.

Among the many memories, Murphy-Goldberg fondly recalls bagel brunches as well as her first trip to Disney while on spring break. She also loved seeing family and professors support the team during home and away matches, and those late cold nights in the fall when matches could make or break the season.

Upon graduation, Murphy-Goldberg completed a Master's degree in Pathology at New York Medical College and created a beauty/fashion/lifestyle brand that started as a hobby and turned into a career choice. In the midst of working on her PhD, she took a plunge and decided to change her career path toward beauty marketing. On top of developing her influencer brand (Leather Lovely pH7) even further, she is a Certified Makeup Artist and Social Media Manager of Sephora Westchester. Murphy-Goldberg is working towards an elevated position at Sephora's corporate sector.
