Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Owen Heath becomes the first Men's Golfer to be inducted into the Mount Saint Mary Athletic Hall of Fame. Heath was a member of the first Men's Golf roster at the Mount and is one of just two golfers in program history to shoot a 69 in match play.
 
Heath was a freshman on the Mount's first varsity roster in 2013 and went on to become the Mount's first ever All-Conference selection when he earned Second Team accolades in his rookie campaign. He took the first tee shot for the Knights in a match and went on to earn All-Conference recognition in three of his four seasons at the Mount. In 2016 he was one of two First Team selections, the first two First Team picks in program history.
 
On the course, Heath is one of just two players to break 70 in competition and he holds the second best score to par in program history. Heath was the first ever player to fire a 69 in a match for the Knights when he finished at -1 on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park on September 23, 2016.
 
In addition to individual success, Heath lists the program's first ever team victory at the Sage Invitational in 2014 as a proud moment in his time at the Mount. Heath also recalls winning the Knights' home invitational in front of his family and friends in 2016 and the team's runner-up finish at the conference championship later that season.
 
On what it meant being a student-athlete, Heath says, "It allowed me to meet a ton of amazing people that I'm still close with today and it taught me many life lessons; including discipline, prioritization, and having to work with a team through adversity."
 
A three-sport athlete at the Mount, Heath was a four-year letter winner in both golf and basketball and stepped in to produce and undefeated 7-0 singles record in Men's Tennis during the spring of 2017.
 
After graduating from the Mount, Heath moved to North Carolina and currently lives in Los Angles with his girlfriend, Carly Wheeler, and is a Director at Red Ventures.
 
Heath graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration.
