In accordance with New York Education Law Article 129- A, Section 6438-c, the Mount Mary College Student Athlete Policy contains no rule or limitation preventing a student-athlete from earning compensation or representation for name, image, or likeness. As required by this law, we cannot provide compensation to a prospective student- athlete for name, image, or likeliness.
- If a student were to receive a NIL Contract, they must provide the contract details to the Director of Compliance at Mount Saint Mary College within 72 hours of receiving the contract.
- The student athlete must provide all the details of the NIL contract to the Director Compliance and must include:
- Company/Business giving the NIL Contract.
- Inform the Director of compliance of any and all compensations the student-athlete will be receiving from the contract.
- Provide the services that the student athlete will be doing in order to receive the NIL Contract.
- The NIL contract must not conflict with any core values of Mount Saint Mary College. Company/Business giving the NIL Contract.
