Joseph Scarola of the men's swim team was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week, and Junior
Michael D'Ambrosio was named Skyline Conference Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Scarola has gotten off to a hot start to his freshman year, earning Rookie of the Week honors for not only this week but last week as well. He got a top-three finish in the Knights' first meet of the season, placing third in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:06.27. In their meet against William Paterson, Scarola was the top scorer for the men, placing first in the 500 Yard Freestyle, second in the 1,000 Yard Freestyle, and third in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
D'Ambrosio was the Skyline Swimmer of the Week this past week on the men's side, earning the honor for his performance against William Paterson. He secured two second-place finishes in his first meet of the season in the 200 Yard Individual Medley and the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
