NEWBURGH, N.Y. — Yesterday, men's swimming won their last regular season meet at home against SUNY Delhi (83-52) and SUNY Purchase (93-13).
Jackson Lerner won the meet's first individual event, the 1000-yard freestyle, with a time of 13:03.75. He went on to win the 50-yard freestyle (24.34) and the 100-yard freestyle (54.69).
Michael D'Ambrosio took first in the 200-yard individual medley, coming in at 2:21.38.
Edward Mills touched out a Delhi swimmer to win the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.79), before taking first in the 500-yard freestyle as well (5:53.52).
Lastly, Kyle Giuliano won the 100-yard butterfly at 1:05.93.
Looking ahead, men's swimming starts their post-season at the Skyline Conference Championship on January 25 and 26, held at SUNY Purchase College.
