NEWBURGH, N.Y. — Men's swimming competed in their first meet of the new year this evening against Bard College. The Knights swam tough, but came up short with a final score of 80-60.
Michael D'Ambrosio had strong swims, earning first in the 100-yard breaststroke and second in both the 200-yard individual medley (2:29.08) and the 200-yard freestyle (2:11.04).
Jackson Lerner picked up a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at a time of 24.82, and second in the 100-yard butterfly (59.40).
Edward Mills touched out a Bard swimmer for first place in the 100-yard freestyle at 59.38.
Kyle Giuliano grabbed second place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:09.77.
Men's swimming will compete again this Saturday at home in their senior meet against SUNY Purchase, John Jay College and SUNY Delhi at 12 PM.
