Grace Morra and Freshman
Kaelyn Greene of the women's soccer team were named to Skyline All-Conference teams as announced by the league office Saturday morning.
Morra was selected to the Skyline All-Conference First Team for her breakout season at the Mount. Transferring from Wagner College, she led the Knights in goals (11), assists (8), points (30), shots (50), shots on goal (28), and game winning goals (2). Morra was also one of the premier players while in conference action. She was t-2
nd in goals while only being 13
th in total shots. Her 6 assists were good enough to tie for 2
nd in the conference and finish 2
nd in total points with 28. Morra had two hat tricks this season against Old Westbury and St. Joseph's Brooklyn. Her season-high in assists was 4 in their match against Yeshiva on August 15
th.
Greene was named to the Skyline All-Conference Second team as her rookie campaign was one of the best in the conference. Greene was an instant plug-and-play defender for the Knights helping to reinforce the Mount Saint Mary back line. She was also an offense force as well, scoring 6 goals to go along with 3 assists. Her 15 points were 4
th best on the team. Greene is a versatile player that can play both offense and defense, showing off her ability in their match against Manhattanville this season. Down by a goal, she was moved up to forward late in the match where she got the game tying assist. Greene had a season-high 2 goals in their games against Yeshiva and Maritime.
