Newburgh, N.Y. – Coming off its third straight victory and a pair of Skyline Conference triumphs on Saturday, the Mount Saint Mary College Women's Volleyball team will close out a four match home stand on Tuesday night against Rutgers-Newark. At A Glance: Mount Saint Mary moved to 5-12 overall on Saturday with a pair of Skyline Conference home wins. The Knights dispatched St. Joseph's-Brooklyn in straight sets and battled past Sarah Lawrence in four sets to move to 4-0 at home in 2016.

Angelia Cirigliano (Newburgh, N.Y.) totaled 23 kills, including 13 against St. Joseph's, and 23 digs over the two league tilts on Saturday in addition to posting six service aces and a block.
Rachel Sabatini (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) finished the day with 22 winners and 21 digs, while
Megan Williams (Glenmont, N.Y.) posted 18 kills and finished off the day with a career-high 10 digs in each match.

Through Saturday's action, Sabatini leads the team in kills with 113 and is third on the team in digs with 108. Cirigliano paces the squad with 22 service aces and
Kristen Maddock (Medford, N.Y.) has handed out 301 assists, good for 6.40 per set. Freshman
Madelyn Barberan (Fishkill, N.Y.) has lifted a team-high 189 digs, including a career-high 22 against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.

Scouting The Scarlet Raiders: Rutgers-Newark comes to town at 6-6 overall on the season and is coming off a 3-1 win over Wesley in its final match of the Gallaudet Tournament. Karolina Kopacz led all players in the match with 17 kills to go along with 11 digs, while Cassie Luken posted 10 winners and lifted 13 digs.

Kathy Hormaza handed out 24 of the team's 48 assists in the match and Sue Riley led the Scarlet Raiders with 16 digs.

Coming into Tuesday's match, Kopacz leads the team in kills (108), assists (171) and service aces (24), while Riley holds the team lead in digs with 215. Rebecca Ford is the top blocker for Rutgers-Newark with 23 on the season.

Recent History: The two teams have met in six of the past seven seasons with the Knights holding a 6-0 record. In last season's 3-2 win on the road, Sabatini led the team with 17 kills and added 14 digs. Maddock also posted a double-double for the Mount with 27 assists and 12 digs.

What's Next: After wrapping up the home stand on Tuesday, Mount Saint Mary will travel to Pratt on Thursday before returning home to host MCLA and Williams Paterson on Saturday, October 1.
