Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.- The men's soccer team lost a hard fought non-conference matchup against Vassar College, 1-2. The loss drops the Knights record to 2-6-1 and Vassar moves to 4-2-2.
After the first half of the game, the Brewers lead the way with seven shots compared to the Knights two. At the end of the first half the score was still tied 0-0.
The first goal of the game came in the 48
th minute when Vassar senior forward Cosmo Veneziale finished a pass from Nick Hess.The Knights tied up the game after senior forward
Michael Ennis (Carmel, N.Y.) took control of the ball at the 18-yard box, dribbled in and finished the ball into the top right corner.
Vassar answered back with Veneziale's second goal of the game in the 67
th minute. Veneziale finished a pass to the right of the net. The Brewers outshot the Knights 20-7 in the match up. They also lead the way on corner kicks eight to zero.

The Knights next game is a Skyline conference matchup at Farmingdale Saturday, Sept. 26. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
