FREDONIA, N.Y.- After a tough loss on Friday night, the Mount Saint Mary College men's soccer team recovered on Saturday afternoon when they beat the Buffalo State Bengals, 3-0. The Knights move to 3-1 while the Bengals drop to 1-2-1.

Matt Garcia (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) scored off of an assist from senior
Sean Lockwood (Manahawkin, N.J.) in the third minute of the game. Senior
Rob Thompson (West Babylon, N.Y.) kept the offensive momentum going with an unassisted goal (West Babylon, N.Y.) in the sixth minute, recording his first goal of the season. Garcia would strike again in the second half, sending the Knights to a 3-0 victory.

The Knights return to action on Wednesday, September 11 with a home game against Albertus Magnus College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
