NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College women's soccer team officially announced its schedule for the 2026 season Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights will begin the 2026 campaign with a pair of exhibition scrimmages, hosting Oneonta on August 23 before traveling to Wilkes University on August 29.
Mount Saint Mary opens the regular season at Kaplan Field against Vassar on September 1. The Knights will look to defeat the Brewers for just the second time in program history and earn their first victory in the series since September 2, 2015.
The Mount then heads on the road for a pair of non-conference contests, taking on Albertus Magnus on September 5 before visiting SUNY New Paltz on September 9.
The Knights return home on September 13 to face Rutgers-Newark, looking to bounce back after a 5-1 road loss to the Scarlet Raiders last season. Mount Saint Mary wraps up non-conference play on September 16 at SUNY Delhi, marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Skyline Conference play opens on September 19 when the Knights host defending conference champion St. Joseph's Long Island. Mount Saint Mary will seek its first victory over the Golden Eagles since October 16, 2021. The Knights then take on St. Joseph's Brooklyn on September 23, where they will look to remain a perfect 9-0 all-time against the Bears.
On September 27, the Knights travel to Farmingdale State for a rematch of last season's Skyline Conference First Round, where the Mount eliminated the Rams for its first-ever postseason victory over the program. Mount Saint Mary closes the month at Maritime on September 30, carrying an unblemished 18-0 record in the all-time series.
The Knights return to Kaplan Field on October 3 for a pivotal matchup with Mount Saint Vincent after last season's Skyline Conference Semifinal defeat. Following 16 consecutive wins to open the series, the Mount enters the contest winless in its last six meetings (0-5-1) against the Dolphins. Merchant Marine visits Newburgh on October 7, with the Knights looking to snap a three-game skid against the Mariners.
A three-match road trip begins at Purchase on October 13. Mount Saint Mary has never conceded a goal to the Panthers, posting a perfect 9-0 record in the series. The Knights then visit Manhattanville on October 17, where they own a 4-1-4 all-time advantage, before wrapping up their road schedule at Yeshiva on October 21. The Mount has averaged 10.5 goals per game in its previous meetings with the Maccabees.
The regular season concludes with two home matches at Kaplan Field. Mount Saint Mary hosts Old Westbury on October 24, looking to extend its 18-match winning streak over the Panthers, before closing the regular season against Sarah Lawrence on October 28. The Knights hold a commanding 9-1-2 all-time record against the Gryphons.
The 2026 Skyline Conference Championship begins with first-round action on Sunday, November 1, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday, November 4, and the championship match on Saturday, November 7.
