Maria Baldwin of the women's soccer team was named Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week and freshman
Isabella Milburn of the women's soccer team was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Baldwin has been the leader all season for the a Knight's defense that has only allowed 1 goal in conference play all year. The team went 2-0 last week to improve to 4-0 in the Skyline this season, and Baldwin played 90 minutes in both games, helping shut down Sarah Lawrence in a 3-1 win and Manhattanville in a 1-0 win. The Knights held the Valiants to zero shots on goal in their victory.
Milburn provided a much needed spark off the bench for the Knights in both games this past week. She scored a goal in their 3-1 win over Sarah Lawrence and assisted on the lone goal in the team's win over Manhattanville.
Senior forward
Lily Tanko was also named a Skyline Conference women's soccer Honorable Mention for her performance this past week, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist.
