NEW YORK, N.Y. – Freshman second baseman Christian Parisa of the baseball team was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Parisa has been a staple in the Knights' lineup this year, posting a .318 batting average prior to this week's games. In two games against defending champion St. Joseph's Long Island, Parisa went 3 for 9 with 3 RBIs, 3 runs scored, and a double as Mount Saint Mary swept the Golden Eagles.
