DELHI, N.Y. — Men's Swimming competed at SUNY Delhi this afternoon for their Fall Invitational Meet. They took home second place, with 236 points behind SUNY Delhi at 337 points, and ahead of Bard College (101) and Herkimer Community College (90).
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Michael D'Ambrosio,
Paul D'Ambrosio,
Joseph Scarola and
Kyle Giuliano placed second with a time of 1:54.62.
Scarola won the 50-yard butterfly, breaking SUNY Delhi's pool record in the process. He dropped it from 27.93, set by Mount alum
Jackson Lerner, to 27.49. He also won the 100-yard freestyle at a time of 55.12.
Marcus Innamorato picked up first in the 200-yard freestyle, at 2:07.47.
Paul D'Ambrosio swam to first place in the 50-yard breaststroke (31.57) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.11).
Michael D'Ambrosio won the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 36.70 and the 100-yard individual medley at 1:02.65.
Giuliano picked up a pair of second-place finishes, in the 1,000-yard freestyle (13:09.74) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:11.47).
Tomorrow, the Knights will host SUNY Delhi, Brooklyn College and York College for an 11:00 a.m. meet at the Kaplan Center Pool.
