PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. — Men's swimming traveled to Pleasantville, N.Y. last night for a non-conference meet against Pace University and Assumption University. The Knights swam hard and earned best times, but ultimately lost to both teams, with scores of 223-39 against Pace and 148-62 against Assumption.
Joseph Scarola kicked off the evening with a third-place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle, hitting the wall at 12:17.09.
Marcus Innamorato earned fourth in his 1,000-yard freestyle at a time of 12:21.18.
Michael D'Ambrosio picked up third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:17.18) and fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a 1:02.30.
Paul D'Ambrosio swam to fifth in both breaststroke events, with a time of 1:11.50 in the100-yard race and 2:43.01 in the 200-yard race.
Scarola, Innamorato, Kyle Giuliano and Michael D'Ambrosio closed out the meet with a third-place swim in the 200-yard freestyle relay at a time of 1:45.92.
Men's swimming will head to SUNY Delhi on Nov. 22 at 1:00 p.m., for a non-conference quad meet with Bard College and Herkimer College.
