PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. — Women's swimming faced off with Pace University and Assumption University in a non-conference meet last night. The Knights had solid swims across the pool with many personal best times, but ultimately lost to both Pace (232-33) and Assumption (195-39).
The 200-yard medley relay team of Stefanie Sommer , Ruvarashe Gondo, Cayla Nicholas and Kate Cerven swam to fifth with a time of 2:12.04.
Mainiero placed fourth in her 1,000-yard freestyle (13:06.96) and seventh in the 200-yard individual medley.
Nicholas picked up fifth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:47.45) and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:01.11.
Sommer swam to fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a 6:35.49. She also placed seventh in her 200-yard backstroke (2:40.20).
Gondo placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke, with a 3:12.66.
Coming up, the Knights have a non-conference quad meet at SUNY Delhi, with Bard College and Herkimer College on Nov. 22 at 1:00 p.m.
