KINGS POINT, N.Y. — Men's swimming joined St. Joseph's College Long Island, SUNY Maritime and the United States Merchant Marine Academy for a Skyline Conference Quad Meet on Friday night in Kings Point, N.Y. The Knights won against SJLI (132-71) and lost to SUNY Maritime (170-69) and USMMA (212-48).
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Kyle Giuliano,
Paul D'Ambrosio,
Marcus Innamorato and
Michael D'Ambrosio started the meet off with a sixth-place finish at a time of 1:57.16.
Michael D'Ambrosio swam to second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.34) and the 200-yard individual medley at a 2:21.78. He also earned fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.07).
In the 500-yard freestyle, Innamorato placed third with a time of 5:56.13. He also placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:09.14) and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle (58.19).
Paul D'Ambrosio swam to third in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:50.93. He also picked up fourth in his 100-yard breaststroke, coming in at 1:13.88.
Giuliano placed fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:32.09) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (12:32.08).
Joseph Scarola earned fifth place in his 100-yard butterfly, at 1:05.80.
Scarola, Innamorato, Giuliano and
Michael D'Ambrosio finished out the night with fourth place in the 400-yard freestyle relay, at 3:52.25.
