NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sophomore outside hitter Julianna Simone of the women's volleyball team was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Simone had the best performance of her career this past Saturday in a 3-2 win over Farmingdale State College, the team's first win over the Rams since October 31st, 2015. She recorded a career-best 23 kills and 22 digs for 26.0 points in the win, also adding 2 aces, 2 block assists, and 1 assist. She also had 9 kills, 12 digs, and 1 solo block for 10.0 points in a 3-0 win at Mount Saint Vincent.
