Newburgh, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College Men's Lacrosse team plays the second of consecutive road games Sunday afternoon at Gwynedd Mercy. Danny Kugler (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) led the Mount with four goals against the Brewers with
Dylan De Meo (Franklin Square, N.Y.) scoring once and helping on three other goals.
Through three games, De Meo paces the Knights with 12 assists and 17 points, while Kugler sits atop the team leaderboard in goals with 10, including a pair of tallies with the man advantage. Sophomore defender
Peter Beidl (Clifton Park, N.Y.) is tied for the team lead with seven groundballs and leads the team with three caused turnovers.

Christopher Doerr (Pleasantville, N.Y.) has made 13 saves in each of his three starts this season and is tied with Beidl for the team lead in groundballs with seven.
A.J. Galletta (Commack, N.Y.) has stopped four opponent shots in 14:47 of work and freshman
Eli Laikin (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) made his collegiate debut against Vassar, making a single save.
Among the conference leaders, De Meo paces the Skyline Conference in assists per game (4.00) and points per game (5.67), while Kugler stands third in the league in goals per contest (3.33). Doerr sits atop the conference leaderboard in saves per game (13.00).
Scouting the Griffins: Gwynedd Mercy also enters Sunday's tilt at 1-2 overall and is coming off a 5-1 loss to Haverford on Wednesday. The Griffins' only goal of the game came in the opening period when Joseph Pandolfi scored his second goal of the season to tie the score at 1-1.
Through the season's first three games Dominic Moscariello leads the team in assists (3) and points (6) and is tied for the team lead in goals (3) with Ryan Simpson and Jacob Snavely. Marc Bushong has scooped a team-high 14 groundballs and Joe Simpson has a face-off winning percentage of .667, winning 28 of his 42 chances.
Sean Myers has played every minutes thus far in the cage for the Griffins and is sporting a 6.00 goals against average while making 19 saves.
Heading into Sunday's contest, the Griffins are scoring just 4.67 goals per game and allowing 6.00 markers per contest. Gwynedd Mercy has picked up 10 more groundballs than its opponents and is clearing at a 92.9-percent rate.
Recent History: The two teams have met four times prior to Sunday's matchup with the Griffins wining each meeting. The last matchup was on March 7, 2015 in Newburgh with Gwynedd Mercy coming away with a 13-9 victory.
What's Next: After a two game road swing, the Mount returns to Kaplan Field on March 15 for a midweek tilt with Manhattanville. Face-off with the Valiants is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
