Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary College senior goalie Kenny Leen set yet another record in the men's lacrosse program, shattering the single-game saves record with 32 saves this game against Farmingdale. He beat the previous record of 27, held by Christopher Doerr since March 7th, 2015, when he did it against Gwynedd Mercy. The Knights would win the opening faceoff, but it was clear from the start that the Mount was going to have their work cut out for them against the Rams. Kenny Leen was prepared, saving the first four shots on goal. Although Leen was on his A-game, Farmingdale would still be able to find a way to score, taking a 5-0 lead after the first quarter.

The Knights would be outshot 73-15 this game, and struggled in the turnover battle as well, being -15 in that category. Kenny Leen wasn't just getting volume saves; he was making fantastic plays and stunning Farmingdale attackers who thought they had easy goals right outside the crease. The Mount would still find themselves down 9-0 at the half, looking to get any sort of momentum to start the third.

Sophomore Jake Kannenburg would get the Knights on the board with the first goal of his career in the third quarter. Senior defenseman Luke Dombroski was his usual self in this contest, finishing the game with a team-high seven ground balls and a couple of caused turnovers.

At 9:35 remaining in the fourth quarter, Kenny Leen would record his 28th save of the game to break the single-game saves record in Mount Saint Mary College program history. He didn't just stop there; Leen would make four more saves to reach 32 in the game, finishing with a .653 save percentage.
