Newburgh, N.Y. – After playing its first three games of the season on the road, the Mount Saint Mary College Women's Soccer team will open the home schedule this weekend with a pair of games as part of the MSMC Tournament. The Knights will open the event against New Paltz on Friday, with Montclair State and Elmira also participating.

At A Glance: The Knights are searching for their first win of the season after dropping the first three decisions of the season. The Knights, who have been outscored 9-0 over the first three contests, are in the midst of their longest losing streak since dropping the first three games of the 2013 season.

A pair of juniors lead the Mount in shots heading into the weekend, with
Bridget McKeever (Wallkill, N.Y.) pacing the squad with seven, while classmate
Destiny Ribadeneyra (Maybrook, N.Y.) has six shots for the Knights.
Mary Riley (Newburgh, N.Y.) has played each minute in goal for Mount Saint Mary and has made 22 saves, including 11 in the team's last outing at #14 Stevens.

A Look At New Paltz: The Hawks come into Friday's contest at 1-3-0 overall and are coming off a 1-0 victory over Ramapo in their last outing. Danielle Grossi has scored the team's lone goal of the season, the game winner against the Roadrunners, while Mikayla Pugliese leads the team with one assist. Angela Ratka has seen the bulk of action in goal for New Paltz, making 18 saves and posting a 2.29 goals against average.

Scouting Montclair State: The Red Hawks hold a 2-0-1 overall record through three games and have yet to surrender a goal, outscoring their opponents 6-0. Emily Beenders leads the team with two goals, while Brynn McDonald has assisted on a pair of tallies. Alyson Burns has played 200 of a possible 290 minutes in goal for Montclair State and has stopped seven opponent shots heading into Friday's game with Elmira.

Scanning The Soaring Eagles: Elmira comes to town with an 0-2-0 record after falling 8-1 to #4 William Smith and 4-0 to the University of Mary Washington. Sara Kazerouni has the team's only goal of the season through two games and goalkeeper Amanda Banner has played each of the team's 180 minutes, making 21 saves.

What's Next: Following the weekend tournament, the Mount's challenging early season schedule continues with a trip to Drew on September 20. The Knights will open Skyline Conference play three days later when Sarah Lawrence visits Kaplan Field.
