Farmingdale State StatisticsFARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The No. 3-seed Mount Saint Mary College women's lacrosse team heads to Farmingdale State College Wednesday evening to take on the No. 2-seed and defending Skyline Conference Champion Rams in the semifinal round of the 2015 Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.

Live StatsSCOUTING THE KNIGHTSThe Knights enter Wednesday's semifinal matchup with a 7-9 overall record, but they had a strong season against Skyline opponents, going 5-2 against conference foes.
Mount Saint Mary is led by sophomore attacker
Katie Gattoni (Old Tappan, N.J.), who set new program records with 64 goals and 71 points so far this season. She ranks first in the Skyline in total goals and third in total points. She was also named Skyline Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week on two occasions this year.
Junior midfielder
Nicole Scicutella (Massapequa, N.Y.) has enjoyed a record-breaking season as well for the Knights. She leads the team with 23 assists and is second with 51 points. This year, she has set multiple single-game, single-season and career records. She owns the single-game assists record with five back on April 11 against the College of Mount Saint Vincent. She also tied the single-game caused turnovers record of five on two occasions. She owns the single-season assists record with 23 so far in 2015, and her 32 caused turnovers broke yet another Knight record. Her efforts have put her at the top of the career leaderboard with 43 assists in just three years. She was named Skyline Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week on April 13.
Junior defender
Claire Duffy (Monroe, N.Y.) has also had quite the memorable season. She has set career-highs with 33 goals, nine assists, 42 points, 83 draw controls, 65 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers. Her draw control and ground ball totals each set new single-season records. She also set a single-game draw control record with 14 on April 8 against Maritime College, and tied the caused turnover record of five against St. Joseph's College (L.I.) on April 25. She also tied the single-game ground ball record of eight on April 21 against Vassar College. Her impressive season totals boosted her to the top of the career lists for ground balls (140), draw controls (133) and caused turnovers (67) in just her third season.
SCOUTING THE RAMSThe defending champions head into the postseason as strong contenders to repeat if they can first get past the Knights on Wednesday. They went 9-6 during the regular season with a 6-1 mark against the Skyline Conference. Their only conference loss came against top-seeded St. Joseph's (L.I.), a 10-9 decision in double-overtime back on April 8.
Senior midfielder Nicole Marzocca leads the Skyline with 41 assists on the season and ranks second in the conference with 76 points. Her 35 goals tie her for the team lead with senior midfielder Alyssa Handel, who adds 21 assists for a 56-point season. Marzocca was named Skyline Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week twice in 2015.
Senior midfielder Christy Thoden ranks second on the Rams with 61 points on the year, including 34 goals and 27 assists. Thoden has had a very strong all-around midfield season for the Rams, leading the conference with 119 draw controls and ranking fifth with 30 caused turnovers. Her 41 ground balls are also a team-high.
Sophomore goalkeeper Krista Spagnoletta ranks second in the league with a 9.09 goals against average on the season. She is 8-6 overall on the year and 5-1 in Skyline games. Her .525 save percentage is .054 better than the next closest netminder in the Skyline Conference.
LAST TIME THEY METBack on April 18, the Rams defeated the Knights by a score of 20-7 at Rams Field. Marzocca totaled nine points on five goals and four assists in the game. Thoden dished out four assists and scored three times for a seven-point effort. She also led all players with four ground balls and 15 draw controls. Scicutella scored four times to pace the Knights in the game, and matched Thoden with four ground balls. Duffy handed out an assist and picked up five draw controls. Scicutella and Duffy were the game leaders in caused turnovers with five and four, respectively.
AROUND THE SKYLINETop-seeded St. Joseph's (L.I.) hosts No. 4 Purchase College at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening. The Golden Eagles won the Skyline Conference Regular-Season Title with a perfect 7-0 record in league games and finished the regular season with an 11-4 overall mark. Purchase went 11-3 on the season and owns a 4-3 record in Skyline play. St. Joe's handily defeated the Panthers on April 18 by the score of 19-4.
