Lowell Earns Skyline Coach of the Year With Five All-Conference Nods

NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary College women's lacrosse Head Coach Mike Lowell was named Skyline Conference Coach of the Year, with Briana Fassett, Shannon McGowan, Delisianna Naccarato, and Danica Valente being named to the Skyline Conference All-Conference First Team, and Kasey Senior being named to the All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.

Lowell collects Skyline Coach of the Year recognition for the second time in his career after guiding a short-handed 13-player roster to a historic season. The Knights posted a program-best 6-2 conference record and finished 7-5 overall, marking a significant step forward for the program.

Senior captain Briana Fassett earns All-Conference recognition for the second time, highlighted by her first career First Team selection. A defensive anchor, Fassett totaled 26 caused turnovers and 25 ground balls, while also adding her first career goal and assist. She reached a major milestone this season, recording her 100th career ground ball in a win over St. Joseph's Long Island.

Shannon McGowan lands on the First Team for the second consecutive year after another standout offensive campaign. She reached 200 career points on April 11 and recorded her 100th career assist on April 21. McGowan finished the season with 23 goals, 25 assists, and 19 ground balls.

Junior captain Delisianna Naccarato repeats as a First Team selection following a dominant all-around season. She netted her 100th career goal earlier this year and led the team in goals (36), ground balls (52), caused turnovers (37), and draw controls (43), while adding 15 assists.

Freshman defender Danica Valente made an immediate impact in her debut season, earning First Team honors. She contributed across the board with 9 goals, 4 assists, 27 caused turnovers, and 20 ground balls.

Sophomore Kasey Senior rounds out the honors with her first All-Conference selection, earning Second Team recognition. She totaled 26 goals, 10 assists, 38 draw controls, 23 ground balls, and 16 caused turnovers in a strong sophomore campaign.
