Box Score NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College men's lacrosse team (4-8) outscored Bard College (5-6) 8-1 in the fourth quarter on a rainy Tuesday evening at Kaplan Field to earn a 13-7 victory over the Raptors in non-conference action.

Jake Robison (Franklin Square, N.Y.) tallied four of his game-high seven points in the fourth quarter, assisting three of the Knights' eight goals and scoring another to lead the home team's comeback. Sophomore midfielder

Michael Romanik (Hicksville, N.Y.) each scored twice in the final frame.
Both teams were even at two through the first quarter. The Knights took the halftime edge after outscoring the Raptors, 3-1, in the second quarter. Robison scored his first of the game to break the 2-2 tie, and then junior midfielder
Henry Schof (Montgomery, N.Y.) scored two minutes later to improve the lead to two. Henry Blosfelds got one back for the Raptors at the 8:01 mark, but sophomore midfielder
Sebastian Cina Jr. (Colts Neck, N.J.) countered with a goal 60 seconds later to put the Knights up, 5-3, heading into the break.
Bard took control of the game in the third quarter, scoring three times and holding the Knights off the board. DJ Peters picked up the first score of the half, and then Blosfelds hit the back of the net two more times to put the Raptors up, 6-5, going into the final quarter.
The Knights quickly retaliated, scoring twice in nine seconds to take the lead at the 13:42 mark. They scored again just 45 seconds later to go up by two. The trend continued as the Knights went on an eight-goal run before Blosfelds scored once more with 63 seconds to play.
Junior goalkeeper
Connor Haran (Massapequa, N.Y.) picked up the victory by stopping 13 Raptor shots. John Henry Glascock took the loss for Bard, but made 15 saves.
Robison led the Knights with seven points, while Cardo, McMahon, Romanik and Cina Jr. all scored twice in Tuesday's win. McMahon also dished out a pair of assists for a four-point effort. Senior midfielder
Stephen White (Schenectady, N.Y.) scooped up a team-high eight ground balls and won 11-of-18 face-offs.
Blosfelds scored a game-high four goals for the Raptors. DJ Peters picked up three points on a pair of goals and an assist. Glascock grabbed game-best nine ground balls.
The Knights held the edge in most team categories, including taking a 36-31 edge in shots. They grabbed 41 ground balls, while Bard picked up 34. They also won 14-of-24 face-offs.
The Knights return to action on Thursday, April 17, when they host Bryn Athyn College in non-conference action at Kaplan Field. The game is set to being at 5 p.m.
