THROGS NECK, N.Y. - With goals from eleven different players, Mount Saint Mary College rolled to 19-4 victory over Maritime College in Skyline Conference action Wednesday evening.  The Knights move to 7-4 overall (3-1 Skyline), while the Privateers fall to 2-6 overal (1-4 Skyline).

The Knights scored 14 unanswered goals in the opening half, including two tallies each from freshman Jen Gries (Hicksville, N.Y.), freshman Katie McGinnis (Shelton, Conn.), senior Kaileen Spadaro (Islip, N.Y.), junior Erica Massmann (West Babylon, N.Y.), and sophomore Danielle Krupka (Northport, N.Y.).

Maritime's Leanne Lavelle opened the second half with three straight goals, but Mount freshmen Shannon McGuinness (Oceanside, N.Y.) and Claire Duffy (Monroe, N.Y.) answered with back-to-back goals to put a stop to the Privateer run.

Massmann (three goals) finished as one of four Knights to record three points.  Spadaro and Krupka each tallied two goals and an assists, while sophomore Katy Cartelli (Yorktown, N.Y.) chipped in with a goal and two assists.

Pressed into emergency goalie duty, senior Erin Murray (Floral Park, N.Y.) made five saves to earn the win.

Following the holiday, the Knights head to Sage on Tuesday, April 2.  The game, scheduled for 4:00 p.m., will take place at Union College's Park Field.
