Box Score NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary College senior Kaileen Spadaro (Islip, N.Y.) scored six goals on Wednesday evening as the Knights cruised to a 19-9 victory over Bard College in non-conference action.  The Mount improves to 4-1 on the year, while the Raptors fall to 0-1.

Spadaro scored four goals inside the first eight minutes as the Knights jumped out to an early 5-0 lead.  Sophomore Ela Igdeler (Islip, N.Y.) had the other tally during the opening burst.

Bard junio Stephanie LaMont (Skippack, Pa.) got the Raptors on the board with an unassisted goal at 22:02, but the Knights answered with the next four goals for a 9-1 advantage.  Spadaro capped the run at the 13:11 mark, putting home a feed from freshman Claire Duffy (Monroe, N.Y.).  The Knights closed the opening half with four goals inside a span of 47 seconds and led 14-4 at the break.

Bard closed to within seven in the second half on back-to-back goals from sophomore Joanna Regan (Selden, N.Y.), but they would get no closer.  The Knights responded with four consecutive goals to put the game out of reach.
