Box Score NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Sophomore 
Danielle Krupka (Northport, N.Y.) and freshman 
Nicole Scicutella (Massapequa, N.Y.) scored three goals each as Mount Saint Mary College defeated Wells College in non-conference action by a final score of 16-4.  The Knights improve to 3-1 with the victory, while the Express drop to 0-1.
Krupka and Scicutella both found the back of the net twice during a dominant first half for the Knights.  Mount Saint Mary led 8-0 at the break, outshooting the Express by a margin of 20-2 in the opening 20 minutes.
The Knights scored the opening two goals of the second half to take a 10-0 advantage before Wells finally broke through with its first goal of the evening.  The Express crept to within eight with back-to-back goals a bit later in the half, but the Mount answered with the next four and went on to the 16-4 win.
Scicutella added an assist to her three goals to lead the Knights with four points.  Sophomore

Kaileen Spadaro (Islip, N.Y.), and sophomore 
Katy Cartelli (Yorktown, N.Y.) each tallied two goals and an assist to match Krupka's three points.  Junior 
Erica Massmann (West Babylon, N.Y.) also racked up three points on a goal and two assists.  Freshman 
Katie McGinnis (Shelton, Conn.) contributed two goals, while junior 
Nicole Palmieri (Elwood, N.Y.) added the final tally for the Knights.
For the game, Mount Saint Mary held a 35-8 advantage in shots.  The Knights also led the way in draw controls (12-10) and groundballs (20-15).
The Knights will have just one day off before hosting Bard College on Wednesday.  The game is set for a 7:00 p.m. start on Kaplan Field.
