FISHKILL, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College pounded out 15 hits on Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn't enough as Albertus Magnus College also totaled 15 hits on its way to a 13-6, non-conference victory at Dutchess Stadium. The Knights fell back to 7-6 on the year, while the Falcons improved to 1-6.
The Falcons jumped out to an early lead with a two-run home run in the top of the first and never looked back. The Knights got one run in the second, but Albertus Magnus answered with four in the third. Then, leading 7-3, the Falcons broke the game open with five runs in the top of the seventh.

Brian McNoble (Lynbrook, N.Y.) led the way with a 3-for-5 performance which included a run scored and an RBI. He doubled home a run in the third and scored in the seventh following a second double. Freshman

Chris Chieffo (Waterbury, Conn.) all recorded a pair of hits. Sophomore
Vinnie Carminati (Huntington, N.Y.) went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs.
Sophomore starting pitcher Mike Klein (Elmont, N.Y.) took the loss for the Knights.
Up next for the Mount is a Skyline Conference double-header with the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The games are scheduled for a noon start at Manhattan College.
