NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College volleyball team won their third match in a row on Tuesday evening, defeating the College of New Rochelle in straight sets (25-5, 25-18, 25-17). With the win, the Knights evened their season record at 3-3.
Junior
Teresa Sorrentino (Bellerose, N.Y.) was the offensive star for the Knights, racking up a team-high 10 kills while hitting .316. Freshman

Jacqueline Nadeau (Uniondale, N.Y.), and sophomore
Katharine Tischer (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) each added four kills.
Sophomore
Lauren Halverson (Patchogue, N.Y.) had a nice all-around match, serving up eight aces to go along with 22 assists and a team-high 11 digs. Senior
Elizabeth Douress (Rahway, N.J.) led the way with a pair of blocks.
The Mount heads to SUNY New Paltz this weekend to compete in the Hawk Invite. They open up against Ithaca College on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and will also take on Clarkson University in day one action.
