NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary Athletics has released all 2025 schedules for our Fall Sports, which includes; men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
Men's and Women's Cross Country
The men's and women's cross country teams open up their season on September 6th for a 2-day Skyline Conference Preview hosted by Purchase College. The Knights then host two invites of their own on September 14th and October 19th at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome before facing off in the Skyline Conference Championship on October 26th. Both teams will look to improve upon last season's finishes with the men placing 10th and the women placing 3rd. Head Coach
Lorne Marcus is entering his 2nd season with both teams and has already made a temendous impact.
Men's Soccer
The 2025 men's soccer team will start their regular season off with a road match on August 29th at SUNY Potsdam. Head Coach
Kevin Longacre is excited about this year's team as they are returning their top 5 scorers, including First Team All-Conference Midfielder
Marco Mazzarelli, as well as bringing in a talented 10-man freshman class. The Knights open up Skyline Conference play on September 7th as they travel to face Yeshiva University. They will look to get back into the Skyline Playoffs this season after not qualifying last year.
Women's Soccer
With the 2025 season being Head Coach
Joe Dolan's first full season under the helm of the Knights, the team looks to make some noise this season after falling just short in a competitive Skyline Conference last year. The Mount starts their season off hosting New York University on August 29th at Kaplan Field. 4 of their top 6 scorers will be returning included First Team All-Conference striker
Grace Morra, who lead the team in goals, assists, points, and game winning goals. The Knights face off with Yeshiva University at home on September 2nd to start Skyline Conference play.
Women's Tennis
After a much improved 2024 season under Head Coach
Yancy Butler, the women's tennis team looks to make some noise in 2025. The Knights start their season off at SUNY Delhi on August 30th, before facing Yeshiva University for their first Skyline Conference match on September 7th. The team is returning 5 players from last season, while adding 3 new faces that will look to make an impact.
Women's Volleyball
The women's volleyball squad looks to continue to grow this season after not graduating a single player from the 2024 team. The Knights made the playoffs last year and look to do so again under Head Coach
Skylar Kellam in her 2nd season.. Their season opens up with a tri-match against Albertus Magnus and Saint Elizabeth University on August 30th. Returning All-Conference First Team selection
Jonaiya Williams and All-Conference Second Team selection
Julianna Simone, Mount Saint Mary will be a tough opponent to beat as they start Skyline Conference play at Yehsiva on September 14th.Â
