NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Junior pitcher Michael Pisseri of the baseball team and junior third baseman Samantha Stallone of the softball team have been named this week's Knights of the Week.
 
Pisseri dominated on the mound this past week against Merchant Marine, throwing a one-hit complete game and shutting out the Mariners. Pisseri led the Knights to a 3-0 victory with 5 strikeouts in 7.0 innings pitched.

Stallone extended her hitting streak to 8 games this past week as she continues to be one of the top bats for the Knights heading into the playoffs. Stallone went 11 for 18 with 6 runs scored, 5 RBIs, and 4 doubles in 6 games, helping the Mount earn the three-seed in the Skyline Conference Playoffs.
