NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Freshman Ruslan Makarenko of the men's golf team and freshman Julianna Simone of the women's volleyball team were selected as this week's Knights of the Week.

Makarenko shot a team-best 74 (+3) in the Mitchell College Invitational, where he also finished as a co-medalist in the tournament. Makarenko followed up his Skyline Rookie of the Week performance with an even better one to earn himself Skyline Conference Player of the Week.
 
Simone had both stellar offensive and defensive outings in the two matches the Knights played last week. They swept both Saint Elizabeth University and CCNY in three sets where Simone led the team in digs, with a combined 31. She also recorded a season-best 12 kills and 12.0 points in their win over CCNY.
