Farmingdale, NY- 
The Mount Saint Mary College Knights track and field team gave a strong showing at the Skyline Conference Championship hosted by Farmingdale College. The women's team made a significant leap in performance compared to last year, and both the men's and women's teams brought home individual titles.
Women's Team Soars
The women's team was a force, capturing an impressive eight individual championships. Lily O'Brien shined, winning the 100-meter hurdles (setting a personal record) and the 400-meter hurdles, while also taking home gold in the high jump and silver in the long jump and triple jump.
Maria Baldwin also had a stellar day, winning the 400-meter race (with a personal record), placing second in the high jump, and taking bronze in the 200-meter. The Knights swept the 400-meter hurdles podium with Kaitlin Hansen in second and Vanessa Mleczko in third place.
Emily Schneider powered to victory in the hammer throw, and Faith Welsh claimed a freshman win in the javelin throw. Additionally, Lindsey Medina earned bronze in both the hammer throw and shot put.
Men's Team Highlights
Christopher Christiano had a winning performance in the men's 800-meter race with a season-best time and added a third-place finish in the 1500-meter. Kyan Muendell brought home the gold in the men's javelin throw as a freshman.
Coach Callo's Pride
Head Coach Fred Callo was enthusiastic about the team's performance: "Fantastic day for the women's program today. They increased their point total from last year, which is a great sign of improvement. I'm so happy for the 8 individual champions on the women side. They worked hard all season long."
He continued, "So happy for Chris winning the men's 800 meter today. He's a hard worker and deserves it. Happy for Kyan winning the men's javelin as a freshman, he's looked good all season long."
Additional Strong Performances
	- Jordan Wallace and Ramasoj Williams competed well in the sprints, both setting personal records in the 100-meter.
- Jessica Kerrigan raced to a season-best time in the 100-meter.
- Sarah Kannenberg set season-best times in the 800-meter and placed top-five in the 1500-meter and 5000-meter.
- The women's 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams earned second and third place finishes respectively.
