CORNWALL, N.Y. - The Mount Saint Mary College track & field teams celebrated Senior Day for Lily O'Brien, Sarah Kannenberg, and Jordan Wallace prior to the MSMC Invite.
Women's Highlights
Senior Sarah Kannenberg turned in a strong performance in the middle-distance events, placing fifth in both the 800-meter (2:59.87) and the 1500-meter (5:56.37).
Charlotte Rumovicz represented the Knights in the 200-meter, finishing fifth overall with a time of 31.19. She also contributed in the field, placing second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.40 meters.
Courtney Jackson delivered a solid effort in the 400-meter, earning a fourth-place finish in 1:07.88.
Junior Michaela Stack led the Mount in the distance events, finishing third in the 800-meter (2:55.82) and fourth in the 1500-meter (5:48.66).
Grace Steck added another top-five finish in the 800-meter, placing fifth with a time of 3:12.27.
In the field events, senior Lily O'Brien had an outstanding day, capturing first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.45 meters. She also placed third in the triple jump (9.70 meters) and added a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.94.
Men's Highlights
Senior Jordan Wallace had an impressive showing on the track, placing second in the 100-meter with a time of 11.46 and fourth in the 200-meter at 23.42.
Joseph Carmona competed in both the 800-meter and 1500-meter events, finishing sixth in the 800 (2:41.89) and earning a podium finish with third place in the 1500 (5:39.31).
Freshman Robert Jackson III rounded out the day for the Knights in the 5000-meter, finishing eighth with a time of 18:26.46.
