CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Mount Saint Mary College track & field teams competed at the Harvard Invitational this weekend at Gordon Indoor Track.
Women's Highlights
In the sprint events, freshman Courtney Jackson placed 55th in the 60-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 8.69 seconds before finishing 71st in the 200 meters in 29.56 seconds.
Distance runners Courtney Grange and Emma Welch represented the Mount in the 800 meters, crossing the line in 3:26.00 and 4:13.69, respectively.
Senior Sarah Kannenberg raced in the mile, finishing 73rd overall with a time of 6:49.45.
In the field events, senior Lily O'Brien cleared 1.40 meters in the high jump open while also recording a 9.09-meter mark in the triple jump open. Charlotte Rumovicz competed in the high jump but did not record a height.
Senior Lindsey Medina threw 8.80 meters in the shot put open to close out a busy weekend in the ring.
Men's Highlights
On the men's side, Robert Jackson logged an 18:32.07 effort in the 5,000 meters to represent the Mount in the distance events.
Joseph Carmona finished the 3,000 meters in 6:01.87, while the Mount also saw action from additional runners throughout the meet.
