NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Sophomore starter Nicole Lomangino (Wantagh, N.Y.) tossed a pair of complete game shutouts as the Mount Saint Mary College softball team (12-6) swept the College of New Rochelle (0-13) Tuesday evening. The Knights forced both games to end in five innings by mercy rule, winning game one, 24-0, and the finale, 22-0.
 
Lomangino threw 10 innings without allowing a run or a walk in the two games combined to improve her record to 5-1 on the season. She allowed two hits in game one, and just a single hit in the finale.

The Knights return to action on Thursday, April 3, when they play host to John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a non-conference doubleheader. Game one is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
