BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Mount Saint Mary College softball team swept Sarah Lawrence in a Skyline doubleheader.

Mount Saint Mary looked to get back on track against Sarah Lawrence in a road doubleheader. The Knights got off to a quick start with a lead-off double down the left field line from
Autumn Strobach.
Samantha Stallone would hit a sacrifice fly later in the inning, followed by an RBI single from
Grace Terpening to put the Mount up 2-0 in the 1st inning. Mount Saint Mary continued their great play with a dominant nine-hit, eight-run 3rd inning. RBI hits from
Grace MacDonald,
Angela Christopher, and
Autumn Strobach extended their lead to 7-0.
Chloe Graham would put the cherry on top with a three-RBI home run to right center field to make it 10-0 for her first home run of the day.
Graham would also homer in the top of the 4th with a grand slam to put the Knights up 15-0. The Mount's pitching staff of
Grace MacDonald and
Peyton Dost would combine for a nine-strikeout no-hitter of Sarah Lawrence. Mount Saint Mary would take game one from the Gryphons by the final score of 16-0.

The Knights took game one with hopes of doing the same thing in game two against the Gryphons. After not scoring in game one, Sarah Lawrence would manage to score first in game two with an RBI single in the bottom of the 1st to take a 1-0 lead. The Mount did not record a hit in the first two innings, but in the 3rd would explode for nine runs and nine hits.
Autumn Strobach would start the scoring off with a two-RBI single, followed by a two-run shot from
Chloe Graham for her third home run of the day. The Grace trifecta of
Grace Terpening,
Grace MacDonald, and
Grace Reich would record three straight RBI hits, followed by RBI doubles from
Allie Kenney and
Angela Christopher to put them up 9-1.
The Knights followed their 3rd inning up with six more runs on seven hits in the top of the 4th.

Brianna Marie Duffy would all notch RBI hits to help the Mount extend their lead to 15-1. Mount Saint Mary would come away with the series sweep of Sarah Lawrence as they will round out their regular season with a home double header against St. Joseph's Long Island.
