BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Facing a two-point deficit at the half, Mount Saint Mary College limited NYU-Poly to just 18 points in the second half to earn a 73-57 victory in Skyline Conference action Saturday. The Knights improve to 12-6 overall (9-3 Skyline) with their fifth straight win.

Chris Pisciotta (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) led the Knights in scoring for the third straight contest, pouring in 23 points on 6-of-13 from the field and 10-of-11 at the line. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. Senior
Ryan Straub (Massapequa, N.Y.) hit on 3-of-6 from three and 8-of-10 from the charity stripe to finish with 19 points, while junior
Donte Howell (Baldwin, N.Y.) hit a pair of threes and connected on 8-of-10 at the line for 16 points.
Freshman Jamel Gist (Brooklyn, N.Y.) totaled 15 points and sophomore Stefan Stoyanovich (Raleigh, N.C.) scored 13 points to lead NYU-Poly. The Fighting Blue Jays shot 51.6-percent in the first half and took a two-point advantage to the locker room when a half-court shot beat the buzzer. However, NYU-Poly hit on just 6-of-32 from the field in the second half and managed just 18 points.
Mount Saint Mary will host Yeshiva University on Monday at 8:00 p.m. in the Kaplan Center.
