ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - After being held scoreless in their previous two games, the Mount Saint Mary College men's soccer team exploded for six goals in a convincing 6-0 win over Bard College on Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Knights improve to 3-4-0 on the year, while the Raptors drop to 2-5-1.

Matt Pagano (Mahopac, N.Y.), who then drilled a shot from 30 yards out, over the outstretched hands of Bard goalkeeper Gabe Rudd (Amherst, MA.).

Drew Altieri (Voorheesville, N.Y.). Following a string of shots off a corner kick service, Mount senior
Ryan Folken (Centerreach, N.Y.) deposited on the Knights third shot to put them ahead 4-0.
Freshman
Alex Tolman (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) broke through for his first career goal in the 86th minute of play, as he finished a one-on-one play against Rudd, the Bard goalkeeper. Tolman then added his second of the day just over a minute later, putting home a pass from Lockwood with just under four minutes remaining in play.
The Knights held a commanding 34-4 advantage in shots. Mount goalie, junior
Matt Darling (Staatsburg, N.Y.) was credited with one save on the day and with the shutout Darling set a new school record for career shutouts (11). Rudd made 12 saves for the Raptors in the loss.
In game two of a soccer doubleheader, the Mount will host Old Westbury on Saturday, September 22. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
