NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College made quick work of Maritime College on Tuesday night, earning a Skyline Conference victory in three sets (25-11, 25-9, 25-4).  The win was the fifth in a row for the Knights who improved to 14-7 overall and remained unbeaten in the Skyline at 6-0.

Senior Mary Ann Raftery (Atlantic Beach, N.Y.) had a strong night, posting 11 kills against just two errors on 20 attempts.  Senior Lauren Halverson (Patchogue, N.Y.) served her way to a team-high eight aces and also piled up 26 assists, while a third senior, Katharine Tischer (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) added six kills on just 12 attempts.

The Knights travel to Hunter College for a non-conference match on Thursday.  Originally scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start, the match will now take place at 6:30 p.m. in New York City.
