Freshman Enrique Naudy had a very successful weekend at the Metropolitan Championships held this weekend at Rutgers University. The freshman placed in three individual events and was the lone qualifier for the ECAC Open Championships to be held at Harvard University on the weekend of February 27-March 1. He posted an A-standard qualifying time of 1:59.22 in the 200 backstroke and placed 14^thin the event. The top finish of the weekend for Naudy came in the 100 backstroke. His time of 55.09 was good enough for 10^th place. Naudy also placed in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:06.15. He was 23^rd.
