Mount Saint Mary College Athletics

Freshman Allison Sciucco played a big role in helping the women's swimming team grab two victories against Brooklyn College and Sarah Lawrence College in a double-dual meet at Sarah Lawrence on Saturday. She was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.65, and then took second in the 100 free at 1:01.14. She also swam the final leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay to help the Knights to a time of 4:03.29, more than 25 seconds better than the second-place finisher.

The Knights next swim at the Diamond City Invitational, hosted by King's College (Pa.). The two-day meet takes place on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23-14, beginning both days at 9 a.m.
