Brandon Pagano tied the game up 2-2 with just a few minutes left in the first. The Eagles took back the lead with just over a minute left in the quarter, but
Joseph Corallo would win the draw and take the ball all the way to tie things back up 3-3.
Tyler Mackay helped the Mount take the lead in the second quarter with a goal assisted by
Robby Maurer as they both recorded their second point of the game. Mount Saint Mary struggled on clears, going just 15-25, while Husson went a perfect 17-17. This allowed the Eagles more possessions and shorter fields. Husson would score two unanswered goals in the quarter to take back the lead and make it 5-4 at the half.
The Knights' offense has been inconsistent at times, as they were held scoreless for nearly 25 straight minutes this game. The Eagles scored again to extend their lead to make the score 6-4. A man-up opportunity late in the third quarter gave the Mount a chance to score and put them right back in the game.

Down just one goal with 15 minutes left to play, the Knights had multiple chances to score the equalizing goal, but were unable to convert. Husson's offense was able to catch fire in the meantime, scoring four unanswered goals to close out the game. Mount Saint Mary was held to just one goal in the second half and no goals in the fourth quarter as they lost to Husson 10-5.
