Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary played its first game back in New York this season, after trips to North Carolina and Florida that saw the Knights start off the season 3-7. Eight different pitchers would get in the game for the Mount, starting with Peter Pappalardo, then rotating in new arms each inning to stay fresh come conference play this Saturday. Mount Saint Mary wouldn't get their first hit until the 3rd inning, with a single to left field from Gregory Harrison, who was the only Knight to record multiple hits.

A lead-off walk in the top of the 4th by Noah Anderson, followed by Kaleb Morgan being hit by a pitch, put two runners on for the Mount. Richard Lamping singled to left field to score Anderson from second for an RBI hit. The Knights led 1-0, and this would stand late into the game. The Bearcats nearly started off the bottom of the 6th with a leadoff triple, but Noah Anderson continues to show off his arm early in the season to help throw the runner out at third base. In the bottom of the 8th, Baruch would get hit by two pitches and two wild pitches put runners on second and third with no outs. A balk would score the tying run, then a single scored the leading run to put the Bearcats up 2-1. Mount Saint Mary would end up falling late to Baruch by the final score of 2-1.
