Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary College hit the road as they traveled to face off against Manhattanville University. The Knights got off to a solid start, with Brenden Graham finding Justin Rivera for an easy jumper to get their scoring going. A 12-0 run for the Mount put them up 20-10 midway through the first half, as the Knights' bench provided some great minutes this game, with the injury bug hitting their locker room. Matthew Shupenis scored a season-high 10 points off the bench to provide some size to a depleted front court. Back-to-back threes from Brenden Graham and Matthew Walsh gave the Mount its largest lead of the game, 26-13, as they shot 50.0% from three in the first half. The Valiants came battling back, but 7 straight points from JP Egan allowed Mount Saint Mary to lead 37-33 at the half.

Graham would open up the second period of play with a three, but this would be the Knights' only make from beyond the arc in the half. A 13-0 run from Manhattanville gave them a 46-42 lead, with the Mount working hard to stay in the game. Matthew Shupenis continued to make an impact down low for the Knights on offense, scoring three straight buckets, including a put-back and two assists from Liam Lynch. Although Mount Saint Mary kept it close for the remainder of the half, their shooting inconsistency caught up to them, as they would shoot 10-31 from the field and just 1-17 from three this half. Manhattanville would close out this game and beat the Knights 69-60 to claim the season series.
