Brenden Graham finding
Justin Rivera for an easy jumper to get their scoring going. A 12-0 run for the Mount put them up 20-10 midway through the first half, as the Knights' bench provided some great minutes this game, with the injury bug hitting their locker room.
Matthew Shupenis scored a season-high 10 points off the bench to provide some size to a depleted front court. Back-to-back threes from
Brenden Graham and
Matthew Walsh gave the Mount its largest lead of the game, 26-13, as they shot 50.0% from three in the first half. The Valiants came battling back, but 7 straight points from
JP Egan allowed Mount Saint Mary to lead 37-33 at the half.
Graham would open up the second period of play with a three, but this would be the Knights' only make from beyond the arc in the half. A 13-0 run from Manhattanville gave them a 46-42 lead, with the Mount working hard to stay in the game.
