Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary looked to get back in the win column and earn its first Skyline victory of the season. Justin Rivera would get the first points of the game for the Knights, but the Dolphins were the ones to get off to a hot start. Mount Saint Vincent knocked down 3 of their first 4 three pointers and led 14-2. Brenden Graham would spark a 7-0 run for MSMC to put them right back into the game as they now only trailed 19-16. A Liam Lynch three tied the game up 21-21, as Lynch complemented his career-high 4-steal defensive performance with 9 points. After retying the game at 25-25 after a made free throw from Daniel Herzner, the Knights were unable to score for the remaining 5:44 in the half, but would luckily only trail 30-25 after the first period of play.

Conor Gemmill helped Mount Saint Mary jump-start their offense with a quick couple of buckets to start the second half. The Knights would struggle to stop the Dolphins' offense in the second half, who shot better from the field (62.50%) than they did from the free-throw line (50.00%). Mount Saint Mary looked to attack the paint, more than doubling their free-throw attempts this half. Justin Rivera would hit a three to pull the Knights to within 4; however, this was the closest they would get to the lead for the remainder of the game. A 10-0 run from the Dolphins put them up 54-40 with just under 9 minutes to play in the half. The Knights continued to battle, but their offense was too streaky, only letting them crack a 9-point deficit on a few different occasions. Mount Saint Vincent would eventually defeat Mount Saint Mary by the final score of 68-57.
