Mount Saint Mary went back on the road to take on Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY.
JP Egan started off the game with a steal and a score for the first bucket for the Knights.
Brenden Graham would tie things up 10-10 with a three-pointer before the Gryphons would go on an 8-0 run.
Justin Rivera would lead the Mount in scoring this game with 13 points, as he had 7 of his 13 in the first half. Mount Saint Mary would find themselves down at the half, 37-24, as Sarah Lawrence shot 51.85% from the field and 40.0% from beyond the arc.
The Knights had a much better defensive second half, forcing the Gryphons to shoot just 31.71% form the field, but allowed them to attempt 14 more shots as they struggled on the glass, losing the rebounding battle 44-32. The Mount opened up the half with a quick 6 points from
Brenden Graham and
Matthew Walsh, cutting their deficit to just 7 points. The Knights were in a prime position to attempt a comeback; however, they would not be able to score for the next 4:50, allowing Sarah Lawrence to take a 45-34 lead. From here, the Gryphons were able to keep their double-digit lead for the remainder of the game, as they defeated Mount Saint Mary 68-50.
