NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sophomore forward Maggie Trinkaus of the women's basketball team was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Trinkaus had two dominant performances this past week, which saw her average 21.0 points on 64.3% shooting, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a 2.3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. She scored a career-high 25 points in a 60-59 win over St. Joseph's Brooklyn, where she not only led the team in scoring but also knocked down the game-winning free throw. Trinkaus followed this game up with a 17-point performance in 27 minutes in an 80-44 win over Purchase College to put the Knights into sole possession of third place in the Skyline.
