Rapid Recap
Mount Saint Mary's offense looked to get into a grove today after scoring only 1 goal in each of the last 3 games. Their offense did just that, jumping out the gate with constant pressure on the Wildcat defense. The Knights had 4 corner kick attempts in just the first 4 minutes alone with Jeremy Burgos getting a good look on goal in the 4th minute. The Mount defense continued to be solid like they have been all year long, not allowing a single shot on goal in the first half. While the Knights had some opportunities, it would still be 0-0 entering the half.

The corner kick chances completely shifted in the second half with the Wildcats having 5 attempts to the Knights 1, but the Mount did a great job holding SUNY Poly out of the net. Alex Napoli has had a solid start to his freshman campaign, putting 2 shots on net in the second half to give the Mount some scoring chances. The Wildcats began to come alive offensively late in the game, but keeper Noah Horn was ready, making his only save of the match and making a great play on the ball in the closing minutes to end this match in a 0-0 draw.
